yesterday marks the date i bought fresh fish (bangus). yes, it wasnt in a palengke, but your familiar SM grocery place. this is part of the grand plan to satisfy the sinigang craving i’ve had for days.
after buying the main ingredients of the planned dish, i bumbed into this, which changed my mind in going for your typical sampaloc-sinigang. i didnt know how to use the actual miso, and wasnt that eager to learn.
so i cooked the darn thing a couple of hours ago, according to the sachet recipe. conclusion is: twas good enough 🙂
soon: the familiar, the ordinary, but still special sinigang sa samplalok, without the miso, and loads of kangkong.
