I’ve always known that doing this sort of thing -installing a blog script on your own PC, which requires PHP, MySQL to run- will not be easy. But here’s some documentation to reconsider:

The core of the setup is WAMP5. It’s a 21MB download, but the promise of the setup will make me patiently wait.
