I’m barely functional, smothered in Katinko, and almost done with a roll of tissue for my sneezing spree, but I made myself continue setting up a desktop-resident, local version of my blog [view previous post for initial details]. Why? First, its practical, especially since I’ll be saving significant bandwidth use. Second, I can set up other blogs for testing, just in case my commissioned blog gigs prosper.
This is a screenshot of a local test blog, the second site I’ve set up after a big backup of my entire blog. Now I do understand what virtual hosting is, since I’ve actually implemented it.
UPDATE: This blog is now running on WordPress 220.127.116.11 😀
