Oh true and cheap joy. According to this Wikipedia article, if two copies of [Radiohead’s] Kid A are played 17 seconds apart the music will sync and a unique version will come through. I’m on my second track, and it does sync, rather gloriously.

It’s true. The whole album works like this. I’ve known about it for a while, but today is the first day I’ve ever done it. I’ve spent the entire morning listening to it over and over again. What’s really amazing is when you get to optimistic and the sync is in the 3:30 to 3:40 range, you can hear it play the scale! And the drum rhythm is 100% different from the original. Also, the hidden portion of Motion Picture Soundtrack is amazing. The song sounds like a chorus of angels in heaven normal, but the synchronized version is transcendental.
Thing is, I really don’t have the ‘proper CD’ to accurately do this. They’re all in mp3 format already 🙁
I have a copy of them together on 1 track I did in ProTools. I will send copies. Hit me with an e-mail
