Another Modest Mouse Fan Post

Behold, the Modest Mouse “Untitled” Documentary over at YouTube:

Shot in 1997 by indie filmmaker Rick Madsen, this 36 min documentary filmed during the recording of the Modest Mouse album “The Lonesome Crowded West” will never be released commercially. Artists interviewed for the film include Elliott Smith, Spencer Moody from The Murder City Devils, Doug Martsch of Built To Spill, Sam Coombs of Quasi and Calvin Johnson.

I’m into fan-films, but this merits mention:

Isaac Brock’s side-project, Ugly Casanova’s Things I Don’t Remember… It is made from several short films and educational videos from archive.org. The majority of it (the monkey kids on bikes) is from an old twisted educational video about bike safety where all the kids are wearing monkey masks and are killed in random bizarre ways because they aren’t following the rules of bike safety. Anyway, all the videos are in the public domain and from archive.org if you can find them. I made this over a year ago and don’t remember what the movies are called.
