Hey Rain, just to let you know: “popular tags” is based on weighted categories, and someone has created an updated (and improved) version of that, called Category Clouds. May be of help to you, it works like a charm for me. :)

Hi Rain, have you managed to get the plugin working? They broke the list_cats() function in WP 2.1 and I haven’t figured out how to modify the plugin to work with the new wp_list_categories() yet.
