Hi Rain. Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful video. It is so BEAUTIFUL and educational. May God bless the Philippines and the Filipinos and the world we live in. May you find grace in the sight of the Lord. You are a friend indeed, because you have shared unselfishly what you have. Parang nakita ko na rin ang Manila-1938, the queen city of the Pacific. Fantastic…

thanks Rain for your excellent piece of work in putting together this rare vintage multimedia video-
flick about Manila circa late 1930’s. i was transported to a bygone era of Philippine history, like
a time-warped experience that elicit indescribable awe, wonderment and incredible puzzlement all at
the same time. from stories related to me by my parents, uncles and aunts during their heyday in
Manila and drawing from my own experience growing up there and indelible impressions made after
numerous visits since i moved abroad, i attest to it’s unique character and flavor evident in our/
or Filipinos’ psyche, sense of style, art and culture. it’s a view of beautiful Manila which i’ve
never seen and will never ever see. thanks again for sharing this vintage film…’mabuhay’…
