The show was set to start at 6 PM, and it was free. The all-metal band lineup was enough to drag myself out of the usual weekend laziness, and it was a month since my last gig, anyway.

Despite the rather good Saturday night Yuyintang crowd, I did get to prop myself right in front of the stage, this time, I was set to use some flash when taking photos, since there will a good volume of bobbing heads, and long hair everywhere. The thing was good for only one set: its either the flash is busted, or my batteries are drained, the latter of which I can’t confirm since my charger is busted as well. What to do? Pump the ISO to 6400, who looks at my photos anyway.

Seeing guys in corpse paint is almost always a guarantee of a good, or at least an interesting night. This was good, real good, and some of the bands can easily be filed under BM, that most other acts feel left out of that dark atmosphere.

I went home a few bands short of the full show. Here’s the full photoset.
