More Linux on Consumer Desktops

Dell now has Mandriva shipped with their desktops, the Linux distro that I have on dual-boot on my own desktop. Additionally, HP laptops can now be had with Ubuntu on it. So much for the Linux hardware incompatibility nightmare?
