there is a recall whenever i read/hear anything about Jim Jarmusch. he’s a director, a commendable one, won the Camera D’Or at the Cannes filmfest even, but i’ve never seen any of his work.

Coffee and Cigarettes features Tom Waits, Iggy Pop, The White Stripes, Cate Blanchett, Steve Buscemi, Bill Murray, Steve Coogan… with this cast, ill expect pretty good, and [at least] some very entertaining results.

a remake of a 1978 george romero film just outgrossed the hyped mel gibson flick. now local and foreign news should just shut their traps about the latter.

jim carrey’s career has been unimpressive lately, and kate winslet, well, Iris was good enough, but didnt get enough acclaim. they owe big time to MTV director michael gondry, since Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind has been reaping critic raves so far.
