There has been not significant layout changes for the past few years on this blog. I’ve been spoiled by Squible, and everytime I do test out other themes, I always go back to it, mainly for how it handles Asides posts.

And there’s also the thing about reading other people’s blogs. My Bloglines list of bloggers and feeds has been isolated to those who write for Pinoytechblog, and I do want to expand my reading list, and actively participate in the ever growing blog community.

So here’s parts of the great blog plan:

• Change the blog theme

This will take the longest to implement and officially deploy, since I haven’t found a theme that suits my taste now, that follows the hybrid, non-standard blog look.

• Pimp my blogroll

I’ve killed off my blogroll a long time ago, since I can get my daily reading list fix from my Bloglines account anyway. The deployment of this part of the plan depends a lot on the theme change, though.

• Update feeds from Bloglines account

• Comment on other people’s blogs

I spend way too much time on Flickr, and though the interaction there serves me well, I certainly do believe there’s a similar world outside that would give me the same, satisfying interaction. And aside from photography, I should find myself getting back to my first blog-geek persona: that is, of a lover and semi-pundit of cinema.

Simple and short, eh? I’ll start with these, and then try to find a way to expand my readership base (haha. haha. omfg. haha.), and see where it goes from here.

Smart Bro has been kind to me lately, and you won’t see me frowning when I pay for the bill next time. There’s now actually something to look forward to when I get home, besides sleep.

Has anyone else noticed the onslaught of comment spam after their respective WordPress 2.1 upgrade? Yes, I have installed the latest Akismet plugin, but I’ve had better performance with the older version. What gives?

Performancing Partners quits, which merits another advert reformatting on this site. Another thing to do to this site: DiggProof it. Not that it will happen anytime soon, though.

I definitely believe there is the need to re-up my blogroll, update my Bloglines listing, and start a daily blog reading list. This all stems from the fact that I think I need more blogger friends: its a blogger validation kind of thing, you know.

OFF-TOPIC: Just a tought that came to me – who doesn’t want a harley davidson motorcycle? Odd thought for someone who can’t even drive (at his age!) I know, but these beast machines are just something to marvel at, especially with shows like American Chopper on Discovery that just debunks the hell’s angel stereotype. Nice to daydream sometimes, eh?

Finished upgrading to WordPress 2.1, with one minor problem that I will try to resolve later. This involves ‘popular tags‘.

Lose Pounds on Wii Sports! If only this setup was possible on older consoles, say, a PSOne, I’d go for it; but I won’t be spending this much on a game console, no sireeee.

Marc posted more ways to earn money on your website, and I already signed up for both noted services. Have to feed the needs.
