i used to have a couple of moblogs running when Globe was still giving WAP over GPRS access to any site you want. now, they just provide a handful of sites to visit, but the service is still free.
so, with all the enhancements Blogger is offering now, i’ve decided to make a moblog my next project. no, i dont think it will be a photo moblog, since a previous attempt to even just make a simple photoblog proved uninspiring.
how will i embark on this? let me enumerate:
1) no, i’m not using MT nor Pivot, since that entails too much work. as i just stated, it will be run with Blogger, and will be hosted by me.
2) the post-via-email method will be implemented. i had reservations with this. i can use my Yahoo! email account (Globe allows access to their site), but there’re always advertisements appended to each email, right? but here’s what i got from the Blogger KB:
Sometimes email programs append text to the bottom of each sent message; to make sure this cruft doesn’t get posted to your blog, put #end at the end of your post.
neat! that solves my issue. i was opting to use GlobeXTM‘s email service, but that will cost me.
that’s basically it. project will start tonight after i prepare dinner. i’m cooking a pork vietnamese dish i lifted from the net. will divulge if i fail or not with my culinary endeavor.
