Singles traces the lives of three different women, their troubles with men, and their individual conflicts of interests. plot is oh-so-tired, execution is so-so, acting is boring. its almost entertaining.
one very-off scene was when the obligatory gay guy character just pops out-of-nowhere with a newfound fireman-lover, complete with a fire engine parked on a narrow manila street, and showers the three lead stars with a firehose. no, there wasnt even a single display of wet t-shirts. sense, please. sense.
the movie’s only salvation is the now-un’click‘ed (cinema-wise) Angel Locsin. she easily outshines here co-protagonists with very minimal effort.
