i have seen a couple of scenes from one episode of the new Astroboy series on the bus-tv. promising, still loyal to the orignal animation, albeit a little slicker. plot-wise, its still the same robot-as-misunderstood-misfit-in-a-human-world theme. luckily, i was able to acquire a couple of videos of the initial episodes of this series. the first episode is promising, though, so far, from what i remember of the original series, its only got half-a-heart, and would have a lot of catching up to do.
