finally, something satisfying

been having trouble cooking anything i can actually show off, but past midnight, i got to eat a pretty well-done version of Beef Kaldereta, with this recipe as my guide. however: i boiled the beef first, since i initially couldn’t decide on what to cook for dinner, and it was late; i didn’t have chicken liver; i made the more convenient substitute of adding in a small tin of liver spread; and instead of plain water, i put in the stock i got from boiling the beef.

i still have a half-kilo of beef to cook this coming week, and i’m torn between going either sinigang or curry.
